Day at the Beach

 Twisted Pop up card.
I first see this type of card on Splitcoaststampers. There is a complete tutorial. I could not resist the chance to figure this out. 
Once, I figured out how to make it, off course I had to complete and share. I created this one to send, to my Husband's cousin. She so graciously, housed & tolerated Jeff and I for a nice get away in Florida. She loved it!

Now we are home. I am trying to remember, how to post and share from this location. Not everything will be perfect. I will try my best

I am currently working on a card for Community Education using this Card type. They TOLD me, they are brave enough to try it!

Petal Parade (133599)has many different looks. When used with the scallop circle punches, its a whole look for the flowers. I used the Largest of new banner framelits (132173) in the Occasions mini, to cut Strawberry Slush DSP .

I know that I have shared this one before, but....

This is a 10 layer pin. The simplest way to 1. Cut 10 layers of the same shape.
2. Decorate top layer.
3. Adhere all layers together. I used modge podge.
4. shape layers while they are drying.
5. Hot glue pin to back of last layer.
6. Wear your creation proudly!

On March 15th I stamped with a great bunch of ladies in Tonawanda. They were interested in scrapbooking. So we created a cute quick brag book.

Here is my finished book. I created mine for a little girl who is to make her arrival TODAY! 

 This is 6x6. I started with Very vanilla, Folding it in half. in both directions. From the left side,I cut on the fold line,  the intersection of the folds.
I randomly stamped with the Marvelous Blooms stamp set (sale-a-bration) & Secret Garden Stamp sets.

 The colors that I used, pink pirouette, marina mist, certainly celery, summer starfruit. I added in some First Edition Specialty paper.

 We need some spring here in ski country. I don't know about you. But the snow can go away, NOW!

Celebrating family

While I am personally tired of this white stuff. I had to share this fun picture. Last week, our cousins from Florida were visiting to celebrate their Grandma's upcoming 80th birthday. 

As you can imagine, snow is a novelty to a Floridian. My Oldest Daughter Cicely spent the day showing Kayla fun snow activities. They went sledding at Sprague Brook park, and upon return home made, this very Florida-ish  snow women.

The weekend was capped off with a Celebration for Aunt Bernie's 80th Birthday. It was great fun to have all the cousins, who could attend, together. 

This included a celebratory Harlem Shake
