3-D projects

These are just a few of the 3-D projects that I received in the Splitcoaststampers springfest swap.
This picture frame was made by  Mary Ann Hicks from Tonawanda, PA.
I would love to give credit for this Top-Note purse candy favor, but I am not sure who created it. It is adorable :)
I loved seeing these very inexpensive votive favors! It was just that much more special to receive one in a swap. Maybe it will inspire me to create some of my very own! Created By Meg Deck Whitesboro, NY

Splitcoaststampers Amherst Gathering 3-D swap

April 30th, Amherst, NY. Incredibly fun! Lots of talented people. That is if I have not said that before. This is what I created for my 3-D swap.

These are 4x4 frames, that I found for cheap. They have been taking up useful space designed for hoarding alterables. It was time to put them to use.
With help from my loving hubby. Tin roofing flashing was cut to fit the frame, once the glass was removed.

Each of the months, a coaster was cut with the new 3 1/2" Sizzix circle die. Designer papers were cut to perfect fit with the die, as well. Magnetic Sheets also available through Stampin' Up! were placed on the back of the coasters. This would make a great gift, that will be enjoyed for a long time!
Check back tomorrow, I will post some of the 3-D's I received :)

In My Spare Time

While, I have been away from my blog, I have not been sitting idle. Laugh, laugh, gag!

I was on vacation the week prior to the Stamp-a-stack. My vacation started by attending the Springfest Splitcoaststampers  gathering in Amherst on April 30th. (check back tomorrow to see my 3-D swap!) This was a lot of fun! Busy, busy & lots of creative people. Thank you Wendy & Jen for strongly encouraging me to attend.

Thank you to all who attend the Spring Stamp-a-stack and again making it such a great event! 79 people were in attendance! The highest number ever was 80. Just to make you think that was 1580 cards created.and again making it such a great event!
Getting back to my spare time. My Lovely, beautiful daughters always believe that I have more time on my hands then, I know what to do with. So, they have a tendency to find things for me to do.
This photo box is a perfect example. My youngest, received an invitation to a birthday party for a friend. Jordan decided this would make a lovely gift for her friend. Of course, she did not have time to decorate it herself. I hope that Nina will like it.
