Wisteria Wedding Invite

Pre-planning is essential to ensuring a beautiful wedding day.
One of my supervisor's daughters will be married next November. The Mother & Daughter team plan to make the invitations. With a little help from me :)

This is one wedding invitation design that I found. The You are so Loved (123777 Holiday Mini) stamp set was just crying out to be inked-up .This card gave me the perfect opportunity.

This pocket card was created with one sheet of 8 1/2"x11" cardstock in Wisteria Wonder. The belly band slides off, to reveal the formal wedding invitation on the inside. The little pocket at the bottom can hold the RSVP postcard, and either Accomodation Information or directions to the reception.

Instructions:

1.Cut 8 1/2"x 11" Cardstock in half at 5 1/2"

2.Set one piece aside for now. This will be the formal announcement.
3. Score second piece of wisteria cardstock at 1/2" along the 5 1/2" side. Rotate cardstock and score at 2 1/2".  Trim ends of 1/2" scored side.
4. Place sticky strip along the 1/2" fold, and to sides of pocket.
5. 1/2" score piece will be adhered to the bottom of the formal invitation.
6. Before Closing pocket. I added a 1/2"x 5 1/2" strip of Basic Grey cardstock to add a little color to the inside. Fold pocket upward.
7. Print announcement on Whisper White Cardstock 5" x 8". Mount on to Basic Grey Cardstock 5 1/4" x 8 1/4". Adhere to announcement  area.
8. Create RSVP postcard. 3.5" x 5" Place into pocket.
9. Use Belly Band to close Invitation. Decorate to pleasure :)

Introducing Class to Go!

Introducing Class to Go!

How does Class to Go work?
When you order the featured stamp set in clear or wood mount you'll receive all of the supplies needed to make the 4 cards shipped to you for just a few extra dollars. Local (to me) people, I will have a “pick-up” day. Where you can see the cards in person and ask questions. Plus you'll receive the photos & step by step directions sent via e-mail.
Basically you are making your own set of cards using the stamp set and supplies I cut out & send you. You'll need a basic supply of ink, a few punches and other common tools along with your own adhesive. I even texture the card stock for you when needed. You'll have 4 great ideas finished and ready to use right away or to copy later.
This is a great way to get to play with new embellishments; ribbons, buttons, etc. and designer series paper.
