CAS Mouthwatering ideas

Here is a Clean & Simple Card using the Mouthwatering stamp set and  Outlined Occasions Stamp set from the sale-a-bration mini catalog.

The Mouthwatering stamp set makes it easy to create with due to its bold design.  The Outlined Occasions Stamp set, allowed me to continue with the color theme of the main image.

A little glitter makes all the difference! By adding a little Dazzling Details to the Thanks image, created some interest.

I love how you can see other things in this one stamp. Not only did I see a watermelon, but a lime, a lemon & an orange. A little fruity, I know! But still fun!

Here is my lime example. I was calling it my Carolyn card, hehhehe.

It  reminded me of margaritas!

They say everything is bigger in Texas. I am beginning to believe that! Here is a photo of  60 oz. margarita, at a Restaurant we visited along the River walk in San Antonio.

The glass would've made a great souvenir. But would not fit in the suitcase! All the Stampin' goodies and swaps took came first!

Home Now and Recollecting

While I will miss the great time that I had in San Antonio, it does feel good to be home. It is nice to look at and review some of the pictures taken while away, and the memories that they will forever hold.
A visit to the Alamo. You are not permitted to take pictures while inside,  It was incredible to tour.  Just the thoughts of the age of the structure, and the events that it witnessed.

While in San Antonio, I purchased the family a few reminders of my visit. Some were specific requests. My Husband the sports fan, requested a San Antonio Spurs hat. The girls wanted hoodies. My son is easier, anything that has slight wit.
My souvenirs, are displayed here on my hotel bed. All the wonderful, stamps, and accessories. This is what makes attending Stampin' Up! events so special. The incredible generosity, provided to each and every demonstrator. We received several all attendee gifts. Every Leadership attendee received this cute bag, made in Stampin' Up! fabric that will be available in the 2012-2013 Idea Book & Catalog. The 2012-2013 catalog will be released in JUNE!
Yes, this catalog will end a month earlier than in the past! Take notice! I look forward to some incredible changes in the coming year.
Again, it is always wonderful that Stampin' Up!'s Co-founder and CEO, Shelli Gardner takes the time to make herself available at these events, to smile for probably thousands of pictures, and talk briefly with demonstrators in attendance.

Sale-a-bration is now in full swing! If you ever considered becoming a demonstrator or You would just like to attend Convention in July, Now is the time.  Join the fun, by purchasing the starter kit for $125. This comes with an added incentive this year! Starting in February, every month for the rest of 2012, you can choose a package of Designer Series Paper or a digital download for Free!

Morning in Texas was 42 degrees to start then improved. We did quite a bit of walking from the Hotel to the Convention Center. Once at the Convention Center we stayed put!

We did find restaurants in the River City Mall to eat at and then returned to the Convention Center, for Make and Takes, and I participated in a Focus Group. This was interesting.

Dinner was quick, delicious and accompanied by drinks :) Quickly then we headed over to the Lila Cockrel Theatre to see the Chinesee Acrobats of Hebei, sorry no pictures, camera battery died. Snapped a few on cell phone, but no flash, so they are not quality pictures.

The acrobats were amazing, the things that they were able to do, which we thought looked painful. Incredible! The small horsdoeuvers, like teraki chicken, potstickers, sesame lo mein w/duck. Made this quite special. A new stamp set, helps make the evening spectacular.

More from San Antonio tomorrow!

Views From San Antonio

Early Morning up at 5:30 a.m. Showered and quickly drank 2 cups of coffee. Load last minute things into suitcase, then in truck. Off to the airport at 7 am. Arrive in plenty of time for 9 am flight to Tampa.

Rush, rush, rush, WAIT. 2 hour layover in Tampa. I did meet some new friends at the airport. Looking forward to running into them again over the next couple of days.

Finally arrived in San Antonio around 5 pm this evening. Temperature is warm. Much warmer than at home. This is a view from the hotel balcony. We are located right on the River Walk.

This is a view from the hotel room, looking down on the River. The river walk is a nice scenic pathway, with many Restaurants, and Hotels located along the rivers edge. It was a lovely walk this evening, which resulted in a little sweat (yeah for me) and maybe a blister on my toes.

I am looking forward to Tomorrow. We will check in and receive our Leadership bags, start swapping. While I have one hundred+ swaps, I already wish that I had more.

Oh well! Tired girls signing off from San Antonio!
