3D inspiration

Sunday night, after I created the Out on a Limb Wall hanging, I continued with my creative adventure!

I inked up the Christmas Lodge set (Holiday Mini). I created this Christmas Decoration. It is difficult to photograph the dimension and embossed images.
I can say one thing, when you are around stampers, creative people, you can not help but to be inspired to create, and maybe even try something new. I hope you like it!

Out on a Limb, and some wicked fun!

Yesterday, I attended the Stamp and Scrap Tour at the Hamburg Fairgrounds. It was a lovely day. Just leisurely looking and doing a little shopping with a friend. Certain stamps,inspire fits of laughter and then I laugh even more because I know immediately who will be on the receiving end of the sentiment.  In this instance, I found another person that I wanted to share this with.  That is after I post it here first!

This little wall hanging is just too cute to be scary. Tomorrow, it will be boxed up and sent away. To someone,who can appreciate living in a house of all girls. :) I'm sure she will laugh at the sentiment, like I did. (*that's why we are friends). The Little witch and and small dangling images are from the upcoming Out on a Limb stamp set, from the Holiday Mini catalog. Available Sept 1. The witches boots under the sign are from the Wicked Cool stamp set. Hope you are thinking ahead to some Great Halloween Fun!

Oh My Printed Designer Brads!

I am in love with the new Printed Designer Brads! They just add something wonderfully unexpected to every card you create.

I had a wonderful time creating with some of my downline on Thursday. We created the Halloween Treat/gift card, and some 3x3 hostess/teacher gift ideas. 

I had lots of fun playing last night with the Button Buddies stamp set. I think Tina, will be incredibly excited when she sees the things that I created for her! :)

Busy weekend coming up. I will be off to see Jeff Foxworthy at the Seneca Niagara Casino tomorrow night , with a good friend. Good thing we dont have to    cross the border :)
Sunday, I will spend with another good friend. Looking at all the new things on the stamping marker. We will be attending the Stamp and Scrap Tour at the Hamburg Fairgrounds. Starts this evening with make-it-take it party. Doors open tomorrow at 10 a.m. and runs until 5 p.m. Sunday doors again open at 10 a.m. Hope to see you there!

120906 2-1/2” circle punch, 119868 1” circle punch, 101227 1/16”handheld circle punch, 118074 Owl Builder punch, Big Shot die-cutting machine, 115950 scallop square clear die, 102300 bone folder, 119736 Neutral brads

 Details:

 1. Cut 4 ¾”x 4 ¾” piece of Rich Razzleberry using the scallop square die and big shot. Set this aside

2. Use piece of 4”x12” piece of Basic Black cardstock. Score at 4” & 8”. On middle square score from Top right score to bottom left. (diagonally). To form mountain fold

3. Score treat area with brads.
4. Adhere 3 ¾”x 3 ¾” piece of basic black dsp, to front flap of treat holder.
5. Stamp Owl from Warmest Wishes set onto Whisper White cardstock. Stamp again onto Peach Parfait cardstock.  Using Owl builder Punch. Punch out Owl. From Image stamped on peach parfait , fussy cut pumpkin treat bag. Adhere to Whisper white stamped owl with dimensionals.
6. Stamp bats with Basic Black onto so saffron cardstock. Punch with 2-1/2” circle punch.
7. Stamp “have a wicked Halloween” with basic black onto peach parfait cardstock. Punch out using 1” circle punch.
8. Adhere So Saffron 2-1/2” circle to center of Basic Black DSP. Adhere Peach parfait 1” circle to left side of So Saffron circle.
9. Adhere Stamped owl to bottom left portion of So Saffron Circle.
10. Adhere basic Black treat holder to Rich Razzleberry scalloped square. Share the smiles J

It's hard to believe that summer is almost over. That means there is only a few more days to get your hands on some of the stamp sets in the Summer Mini. The last day to order is August 31.

That's what I have been up to. Here is a couple of cards that I was inspired to re-create :)

There are multiple places to receive inspiration. Attending Stampin' Up! Convention is one of them. The display boards, filled with stamped creations from fellow demonstrators is incredible!

Now if I only had the time, to recreate all that inspired me. Just lock me in the dungeon for a while. Really, you do not have to call me for dinner, just go on without me :) I will survive just fine.

Holiday Mini Sneak Peak

Coming soon to a mail box near you! The Holiday Mini Catalog. 

While at convention, Stampin' Up! showed us teasers.  I  came home with some free goodies, and dreams of what I would pre-order on August 1.

 

One of the benefits of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is the ability to preview stamps and accessories, before the general public.

  Last night, I was able to sit down and play with the Out on a Limb stamp set. I am loving this set. This reminds me of a spooky movie. When you want to yell at the screen "don't go in there!"
I starting to get into the fall stampin' mood. I do not want to wish summer away. But....as a parent I can't wait for the start of school!
